I am Sally Potter – a fully qualified Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist based in the beautiful South Hams on the southern tip of Dartmoor.
I am passionate about what I do and find profound satisfaction in helping people to create positive change in their lives.
I trained as a radiographer in Plymouth and enjoyed a 15 year career in the NHS and private sector before starting a family and moving with my husband to live in Africa. In 2005 Devon beckoned once more, and the Potter family has been settled here since then.
Whilst bringing up my family with my husband working away for much of the time, I continued to study with the Open University, working and volunteering around the busy schedule of the children. As they became more independent I realised that I really wanted to return to a caring career, and that hypnotherapy was a profession in which I would make a real difference to peoples’ lives.
I trained in Hypnotherapy at the Observatory Practice in Plymouth, part of renowned Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training, and am qualified in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, holding a Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH), and the Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma (HPD). I am fully insured and hold a current DBS check. I am also a lecturer on the CPHT course in Plymouth.
Clients can choose to see me at my home practice just outside Ivybridge, or at Nature’s Larder in Ivybridge town centre.
