When is the next Healthy Minds Nourishing Retreat?
The next available Healthy Minds retreat starts on 12th January for 4 nights. Guests will enjoy beautiful, award winning accommodation, an all-inclusive freshly cooked and locally sourced menu, and every opportunity to rest and relax.
…..the most important thing is the relaxed itinerary, this is the key to rest and recovery. The slow pace and time to reflect, talk and enjoy simple pleasures.

All the activities are included. (The only exception is additional therapies such as hypnotherapy with Sally, or reflexology with Lisa, which are available as extras)
We’ll make sure you have all you need to enjoy some real downtime, with the health of your body and your mind at the heart of everything.
What’s included at a Healthy Minds Nourishing Retreat?
The essence of a Healthy Minds Retreat is to unwind.
We invite you to leave your worries at the door, and discover, or rediscover who you really are through natural movement, nutrition and relaxation.
Your accommodation is fully equipped and all your food is provided.
- You’ll have the option of walking on Dartmoor, one of the UK’s beautiful National Parks. It’s literally on the doorstep. If a group wants to try something different, there are some truly beautiful river and coastal walks too.
- There’ll be gentle movement activities such as pilates or Tai Chi, always led by expert local practitioners.
- Sally will deliver workshops, guided by what the group would like, and based around brain health and seeking solutions.
- There’ll be relaxation sessions every day. We use skin care and essential oils from Neals Yard Remedies Organic for a foot soak evening, or perhaps a skin care tutorial (Sally is a Neals Yard Consultant). Helen Philips will take us on a beautiful Sound Journey, and Sally will lead relaxing mindful bedtime meditations.
We also have some lovely little surprises to be revealed at the retreat :)
Sandy at Dartmoor Larder will provide a delicious menu, catered to all our needs, throughout the retreat.
Sandy uses locally sourced, pure and natural ingredients. She’ll also offer us a workshop, teaching us about the ingredients she uses, and the spices that pack flavour into her food.
The food itself was just amazing, so well thought out and nourishing and tasty!
