This is my first time trying hypnotherapy. I reached a point in my life where I knew change was necessary and I desperately needed something, whatever that was. I believe the answers were in me and I just couldn’t find them. After my first session, I have felt immediately physically and mentally lighter in my head.

I felt much more in control and able to deal with the many challenges in my busy family life and at work. Each session managed to help me refocus, rebalance and build in that calmness and pause.

Sally has been fantastic as a hypnotherapist. I enjoy my discussions with her and love the stories she tells to help relax my mind. Her relaxation audio has found a place in my bedtime routine.

Now, I feel that I have more resources in me as I move forward in my life and I believe I am able to find my answers.

How Can Hypnotherapy Help?

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy does what it says on the tin!

This means that whilst I’m interested in the problem, I’m focused on the solution. We won’t be digging over old ground, instead we’ll be planting new seeds – creating your future the way you see it and want it.

This is great news, because it means that whatever it is that you come to see me about, hypnotherapy can help – using the incredible power of your own mind.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a lovely, gentle combination of talking and hypnosis.

In a session, we’ll have a conversation which will help guide you towards what you want, and help you feel confident and relaxed. I’ll ask questions which keep you in control of your own solutions.

Once the conversation reaches a point where you have a good idea about how you want things to be (don’t worry, I’ll be looking out for it), then we use hypnosis.

How does Hypnosis help things?

Hypnosis is a very natural state of mind. When we are in the state of hypnosis, or trance, our subconscious mind is open to suggestion.

I’ll help you to relax, and when your mind is relaxed, it can work really well. Your subconscious will respond to the conversation we have had and to suggestions that I make. In this way, solutions present themselves.

How long does it take for Hypnotherapy to work?

For some people, one session is enough. Others may need a longer course of hypnotherapy to really make lasting changes. Our first session together will give me an idea about how many sessions might be needed, and we will always work together. The decision about when therapy is over is always yours.
